Sports

Sports are a great competitive physical activity to get into. Although sometimes the competitive aspect throws people off, they are really enjoyable, especially if you practice hard and get good at them. I have always been active in competitive sports, with my main one being soccer, which I still play and enjoy even recreationally. Sports are a great way to make friends as well. Most of my long-term friends from high school or even younger all played soccer. Just playing the sport together, you begin to grow close between the wins and losses. Also, you develop so many different skills that will help you grow as a person and kind of help build who you are as a person even. Overall, sports are a great way to get physically active, but not only that, you can build so many other skills that can shape who you become as a person.

Scuba Diving

Scuba diving is something I would recommend for everyone to do once in their lives. It's so interesting how we can breathe underwater for over an hour and be fine. A lot goes into it, though, with the gear checking to make sure everything is in working order. Then you have to be with a dive master but there are so many guided tours to go on. Also, it's not really a cheap activity, but I really think it is worth the experience of it over the price you have to pay. I still haven't even dove anywhere really cool yet, but just the little bit I have has made me want to recommend it to everyone to try it once. Once you dive once I feel like it's hard to not want to again it's like addictive in my opinion. Overall, it's something I think is way worth the money spent on it with how cool it is to be underwater for that long.

Outdoor Activties

Getting outdoors is a great choice for getting active during the day. Getting outside especially when its sunny it can improve your mood and overall mental health. There are so many activities you can choose from such as bike riding, running, walking, sports, games, and honestly anything that's outside that gets you moving would count. Getting outside more has really improved my mental health and it's a great way to give yourself a brain break.  No matter what level you participate in it is still very beneficial for you. Overall outdoor activates are something that everyone should participate in because of the great benefits that come along with them.

Weightlifting

Weightlifting is an excellent way to stay active and improve your overall fitness. Personally, I try to stay consistent with weightlifting, but I often get busy with other activities, such as soccer, hiking, rock climbing, or spending time with friends, making it hard to stay consistent. If you can stay consistent, it can be very beneficial, and once you go for so long, you can make it a habit, which will feel less of a chore and see it as something just built into your day. Weightlifting's benefits range from increasing strength, building bone density, which will help decrease you get when you get older, and overall juts make you feel better about yourself. Overall, weightlifting is something I would recommend, especially if you can get consistent its great for athletes or just people wanting to stay healthy.
